Salam Eid Mubarak,

What a wonderful raya celebration for me and family this year... its recorded a moody, cheerful, funtastic and awakening moods.. This year was the 1st raya:

She came to my house and have a bash with my family.. wat a teary eyes
Danny dah pandai buat collection duit raya.. main bunga api and mercun... meriah!!

Ntah mimpi apa my bro. masak rendang tulang selangka.. sedap woooo

The whole family was in Batu Pahat after sessi bermaafan dan makan2 .. frust woooo

Tok mak, mak ngah n auntie syidah sefamily berkumpul dirumah, the first in many years .. happy woooo

All my wild orchids showed theirs flowers.. Gumbiranya

My beetlejuice VW become the topic of the kampungs and hot celeb.. hot! hot!

What's your wonderful moment, during this raya?

Last weekend, bertique and I together with few die-hard followers went straight to the barn.. yeah.. just to spend sometime and keeping ourself up-to-date with Bert's newborns.. All went well, Alhamdulillah and hope to see big smiling faces from bertique soon.. Congrats bro!

Happy to see, angan2 mat jenin at the first place is now being transform into good livestock business come with better demands.

Malaysian police cleared Scomi of allegations that it knew the parts were bound for Libya and were intended for use in its nuclear weapons program.

Should Malaysia suffer the economic sanctions like the ones now envisaged for Iran if it continues to show the same recklessness and disregard for its international commitments? Sure.

Traditional-Jazzy Nite..

I had a wonderful jazz nite last nite with Mr. Farid Ali also known affectionately as Mr. Gambus mesmerized everyone with the traditional Malay instrument, the 12-string Gambus.

The Instrument and the Playa...
Gambus (Arabian Oud) is a stringed instrument like a guitar with a body shaped like a pear sliced in half. It has 12 nylon strings and are plucked, much like a guitar to generate sound, with a plastic plectrum. However, unlike a guitar, the gambus has no frets.

Farid Ali is no doubt one of the finest jazz guitarist in the region. An 'old soul', at a tender age of 5, Farid was already singing Frank Sinatra's ‘Strangers in the night’ in a Singapore radio show. Whilst his peers grew up listening to Hendrix and Deep Purple, Farid was listening to the likes of Sinatra, Nat King Cole, the Carpenters, Perry Como etc.

The last few years saw Farid embark on playing the Lute or known famously “Gambus” in Malaysia. Farid is constantly doing research and developing a concept of the Jazz Gambus. In February 2004 Farid performed with Bobby McFerrin at the Singapore Esplanade, That performance had boosted his confidence with the instrument and had sparked his decision to record his very first solo CD featuring his Gambus.

Repertoire

Plucking, and sings his owned composed songs from his first album, Turning Point and his upcoming album, due to be released during The Penang Jazz Festival.

This was Farid Ali and The Mr Gambus Band 2nd concerts to the “gambus origin land”, I enjoyed and stunned with his ability, full of excitement and jazzy on strings. Bottom line, whacked and jazzy nite! I soulfully enjoyed the show…

I just completed the Predictive Index checks, I’ve done my 1st IQ Test (50 questions in 12 minutes-this AP Moeller-Maersk is really crazy!!) and about to go for my 2nd IQ Test later this afternoon.
Most probably different cap in different Division….

Sorry! for those who came in but feel frustrated to read an non-active blog.. Tremendously busy with 2 newly awarded projects. It is not for me tough, the new works that i have to monitor in the next 8 months. By then, I will proudly announced to Danny and my siblings that, Phase 2 Development for Port of Tanjung Pelepas are spearheaded by me!!

I just bought my 1971-scrappedyard beetle on 14th June 2006 and in the process of refurbishment.. i'll upload her photo when she is ready..

It is merely a "name" and I bet u wanna have a peek on my beetle soon.. imagine she's clad with 2-colour tone, new interiors, built-in aircond, chromed spart parts, antique rims and 2-colour tone tyre import from Germany...
